Our Classes

Starting from the summer of 2024, Fremont Junior Writers have been involved in many different classes and environments of education. Here are some:

Harvey Green Elementary Program (x2)

Our team actually participated in the Harvey Green Elementary program twice: once in 2024, and the other being in 2025 going into 2026. Both programs were eight-week writing program centered around opinion writing, figurative language, paragraph development, etc. With a total of 100 students, our teachers helped build the knowledge of a huge student population, an act we are extremely proud of.

Lila Bringhurst Elementary Program

During the winter and spring seasons of 2024-2025, our organization worked with Lila Bringhurst Elementary School to help set up an eight-week program to teach basic writing and English skills to over 40 elementary students. Our curriculum incorporated both english and science topics as per PTA requests and thus created a more beneficial educational opportunity for the students in our program

This program was a six-week writing program centered around journalism: teaching what journalism is, how to write reports/articles, and why it is important. With over 40 students in beginner and intermediate classes, our teachers were able to impact the community in an educationally positive way.

Hirsch Elementary Program

This program is a six-week program currently in session from 3/11-4/15. Covering the essentials of narrative writing and grammar, over 25 students will be able to create a stronger foundation for their English skills.
